Lawn care estimate calculator

Price a customer's whole season, not one cut: mowing visits, fertilizer and weed control applications, aeration, overseeding and the spring and fall cleanups, each at your own price per 1,000 sq ft with your own minimum. You get each line, the season total, the monthly payment and what the program averages per visit.

The lawn and your prices

Enter the lawn size, then the visits a season for each service you sell; leave visits blank or 0 for one you don't. Each visit is your price per 1,000 sq ft times the lawn's size, or your minimum if that is more. Visits, prices and minimums start at numbers to replace with your own. Square feet, visits and months are whole numbers; prices are dollars and cents.

How the price is worked out

  1. One visit. The lawn size divided by 1,000, times your price per 1,000 sq ft for that service, to the nearest cent with half a cent rounding up. If your minimum for that service is more, the visit is the minimum.
  2. The service's season. One visit times the visits a season. A service with no visits is not in the program.
  3. Season total. Every service's season added up, so the lines always add up to the total.
  4. Monthly payment. The season total divided by the months you bill it over, rounded up to the next cent, so the payments never come to less than the season.
  5. Average per visit. The season total divided by all the visits in it, to the nearest cent.
